Description

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cath Lab – Anchorage, AK 99508

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 - 17:00); on-call requirement includes 1 day per week and every 4th/5th weekend (Friday 18:00 - Monday 07:30); approximately 1 Saturday per month as part of scheduled shifts

407-bed acute care hospital with state-of-the-art equipment including Impella, balloon pump, laser, rotablater, shockwave, and CSI technology
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
Epic charting system with 40 hours of paid orientation
Guaranteed 70 hours per 2-week period with minimal call-off exposure
Opportunity to work with both diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures

Requirements:

Active Alaska RN license required (pending licenses accepted for submission but must be in hand for final offer)
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab nursing experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Epic charting system experience required
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
Willingness to float within scope to Electrophysiology (EP) or Interventional Radiology (IR) as needed
Availability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declination not accepted)
Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
