Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Telemetry – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00). Patient ratio 1:5-6. This is a 13-week travel assignment.

Highlights:

• 36-bed telemetry unit specializing in medical cardiac care and post-cardiac intervention recovery
• Work with a diverse patient population ranging from young adults to geriatric patients in private rooms
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Care for patients recovering from cardiac surgery, coronary artery stent placement, pacemaker implants, and other cardiac interventions
• Epic charting system with 16 hours of orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, cardiac care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, post-cardiac procedure care, IV management, and vasoactive drip management
• Experience with arterial lines, ports, BiPAP/CPAP, central lines, and other critical telemetry skills preferred
• Must complete core compliance items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Geographic restrictions apply; candidates residing in certain local counties are not eligible
