Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Eureka, CA 95501

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Location: Eureka, California

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (variable start times: 06:30-15:00, 08:30-17:00, 11:00-18:30). Call coverage to be determined based on departmental needs. 40-hour orientation provided. Approximately 30 cases per day across 8 operating rooms.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in a well-equipped operating room with diverse surgical caseload
• Work with all patient age groups including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Opportunity to utilize a well-rounded skillset across general OR procedures; vascular, robotic, and neuro experience is a plus
• Collaborative environment with 1:1 patient ratios
• One pre-approved time off period available during assignment
• Epic charting system experience required

Requirements:

• Active California Registered Nurse license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
• Willingness to float between affiliated facilities as needed
