Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Albuquerque, NM 87109
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30), with option for 36 or 48 hours per week. 4-6 weekend shifts required per 6-week period. Patient ratio of 2:1.

- 13-week travel assignment in a women's hospital Labor and Delivery unit
- First-time travelers welcome with 3 years of experience preferred
- 15-bed unit with 100-200 births per month
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
- Scrubs provided by the facility
- Flexible scheduling options with 36 or 48-hour work weeks
Requirements:
- Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact state license; pending licenses accepted if obtained prior to start)
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate (pending certifications acceptable)
- Experience with patient ratio of 2:1
- Proficiency in charting systems required
- Skills in antepartum care, labor and delivery, C-section circulation and recovery, triage of obstetrical patients, external fetal monitoring, and assisting with high-risk and vaginal deliveries
- Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
