RN LDRP/OB

Overview

• Contract role in Grants, New Mexico
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour rotating nights
• May involve holidays, weekends, occasional labor call, and overtime
• Must work in both L&D and Post Partum

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Mexico
• Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS
• NRP
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• AWHONN
• C-EFM
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Ability to interpret fetal heart rate strips
• Knowledge of sterile technique and sterile field maintenance

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• SAFER NM Technician certification

Experience and Skills

• Education and clinical experience for the assigned department
• Skilled in perinatal care, labor support, delivery, and newborn assessment
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to provide compassionate, culturally competent care across the lifespan
• Ability to work effectively under stress and in a fast-paced environment

Work Setting

• Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP)
• Float to other departments as needed
