Description

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Anchorage, AK 99508

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts (shift times vary between 06:45-17:15 or 09:00-19:30). Weekend coverage required. Limited call coverage for call-offs only. Guaranteed 60 hours per 2-week period.

Diverse surgical caseload including trauma, bariatric, orthopedic/spine, neurosurgery, robotics, gynecology, ENT, vascular, and pediatric procedures
State-of-the-art technology including XI Robot, Stealth, and Mazor Robot Spine systems
Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including lift teams, pharmacy, and interpretation services
Free parking and scrubs provided

Requirements:

Active Alaska RN license required (pending licenses accepted for submission, but license must be in hand for offer)
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
BLS certification required; ACLS and CNOR preferred
Epic charting experience required
Previous travel experience preferred; first-time travelers not accepted
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
Willingness to float to similar units within scope as needed
Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declinations not accepted)
Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
