Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Case Manager – Eureka, CA 95501
Start Date: September 8, 2026
Location: Eureka, California – Northern California coastal region
Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30), every other weekend required. Caseload up to 25 patients. 13-week assignment with 40 hours of orientation.

Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse license; Compact license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital case management experience, current within the last year (required)
- Epic charting system experience required
- Experience with HMOs, IPAs, and managed care organizations
- Knowledge of advance directives, POLST, and protective services processes
- Proficiency in discharge planning, care coordination, DRG, appeals and denials, and prior authorizations
- Understanding of HIPAA guidelines, CMS regulations, and Joint Commission standards
- Ability to float between units based on departmental needs
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
