Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, ER Holding – Albuquerque, NM 87102
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Schedule: Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts (06:30 - 19:00), with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. Every other weekend required. Patient ratio 1:4.

- ER Holding unit with Medical-Surgical level of care in a Rapid Admit Unit setting
- Flexible scheduling with 36 or 48-hour weekly options available
- First-time travelers welcome; 2 years of experience preferred, will consider 1+ years
- Manageable patient ratios of 1:4 across all shifts
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
- 91-day assignment with orientation provided
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse license (NM or Compact license accepted; must be obtained prior to start)
- Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIHSS
- Experience with telemetry, blood product administration, IV management, and wound care
- Knowledge of stroke care (CVA), tracheostomy care, chest tubes, and use of Rapid Response/Code teams
- Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
- Willingness to float to like units within scope as needed
