Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Mother-Baby / Postpartum – Orange, CA 92868

Start Date: September 15, 2026

Location: Orange, California

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Patient ratio 1:4. Float between like units as needed. Weekend coverage required; must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

• Care for vaginal and cesarean section couplets with 28-patient daily census across 32 beds

• Guaranteed hours with minimal call-off policy (once per two-week pay period)
• 13-week assignment (91 days) with 40 hours of orientation

Requirements:

• Active California RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Mother-Baby/Postpartum nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Current certifications: BLS and NRP required; ACLS and CLC preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with 1:4 patient ratios
• Proficiency in couplet care, newborn assessment, breastfeeding support, postpartum hemorrhage management, and related maternal-newborn skills
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Candidates located within 50-mile radius will be considered at adjusted compensation
