Job Opportunity – Occupational Therapist – Bakersfield, CA
Start Date: Not specified
Location: Bakersfield, California
Schedule: Full-time, 40 guaranteed hours per week, day shift (8-hour shifts). One weekend per month required with corresponding weekdays off that week.
Highlights:
- Acute care setting in a 412-bed inpatient hospital with specialized certifications including Stroke, STEMI receiving center, and elective joint replacement programs
- Diverse patient population across multiple units: ICU, Neuro ICU, Pediatric ICU, Neuro, Ortho and Spine, Med-Surg, and Telemetry
- Manageable caseload of 9-10 patients in acute care with no minimum treatment time requirements
- 91-day assignment with guaranteed hours providing schedule stability
Requirements:
- Current Occupational Therapist license in California or ability to obtain
- Allied healthcare certification as required
- Acute care hospital experience preferred
- Ability to work with diverse patient populations across multiple specialty units
