Job Opportunity – Clinical Lab Scientist (Blood Bank) – Orange, CA 92868

Start Date: September 15, 2026

Location: Orange County, California

Schedule: Night shift, 4x10-hour shifts (9:30 PM - 7:30 AM, with potential flex to 8:00 PM start time). Rotating weekends and holidays required. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

Requirements:

• ASCP-BB or ACP-BB certification required; Clinical Immunohematology Scientist certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent/current blood bank experience (within past 2 years) required
• Seasoned travel experience with multiple blood bank assignments required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Large hospital experience (300+ beds) required
• Level I Trauma Center experience required; teaching hospital experience preferred
• Epic experience required; blood bank software experience (any system) required
• Wellsky and Immucor instrumentation experience preferred
• Must be able to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
• Valid California or Compact state license required at time of submission
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
