Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Case Manager – Burbank, CA 91505

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Burbank, California

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30). Patient caseload up to 25 patients. Weekend requirement is every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) with a weekday off. Holiday commitment required: must work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

Highlights:

• Epic charting system experience required
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations

Requirements:

• Active California RN license (pending licenses accepted but must be active by start date)
• Minimum 2 years of acute medical Care Manager experience performing care coordination and discharge planning
• Epic charting system proficiency required
• Experience with HMOs, IPAs, and managed care organizations
• Knowledge of admission criteria, medical necessity determination, DRG, CPT coding, CMS guidelines, and HIPAA regulations
• Strong skills in patient assessment, care coordination, discharge planning, and disease management
• Previous travel experience preferred; first-time travelers considered with screening
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
