Job Opportunity – Surgical Technologist – Napa, CA 94558

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Napa, California

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts with variable start times (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, or 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM). Call coverage varies depending on facility needs. Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays required.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in the scenic Napa Valley region
• Multi-specialty surgical department including General, Urology, GYN, Orthopedics, Neuro, ENT, Ophthalmology, Plastics, Vascular, Robotics, and Cardiac procedures
• 6 operating rooms with an average daily surgical case volume of 15 procedures
• Comprehensive orientation with 40 hours provided
• Opportunity to work with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Two pre-approved time-off periods available during contract

Requirements:

• Current BLS certification required
• NBSTSA certification required
• Minimum 2 years of surgical tech experience required
• Valid state license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I or Level II experience preferred
• Proficiency in aseptic technique, sterilization/disinfection, and care of scopes and fiber optic equipment
• Experience with instrument tray reprocessing and flexible endoscope reprocessing preferred
• Experience with Da Vinci Robotics and robotic-assisted procedures highly desirable
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required
• Clean background check required
