Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, PACU – Santa Rosa, CA 95405

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Santa Rosa, California

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (06:00 - 16:00), Monday through Friday. Variable start times between 06:00 and 08:30 depending on daily assignment. No weekends, no holidays, no call required. Must be flexible with scheduling to meet departmental needs.

• Outpatient Pre-Op and PACU position at an acute care facility serving diverse patient populations including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Comprehensive orientation with 40 hours of onboarding support
• Manageable patient ratios of 2:1 in a 4-room outpatient surgical setting
• Opportunity to work across Phase I and Phase II PACU, Pre-Op assessment, and infusion therapy
• 91-day assignment with potential for extension after 3-month break period

Requirements:

• Active California RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of PACU or Pre-Op/Post-Op nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with outpatient/ambulatory surgery, conscious sedation, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, and infusion therapy
• Proficiency in IV starts and maintenance, airway assessment, dysrhythmia recognition, pain management, and discharge instructions
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• First-time travelers accepted
