Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, CVICU – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: October 20, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 36 hours per week. Patient ratio 1:2. Orientation: 36 hours.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in a 10-bed Coronary Care Unit with a daily census of 7 patients
• Work with adult and geriatric populations requiring critical cardiovascular care
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Opportunity to utilize advanced critical care skills including ECMO, IABP, ventilator management, and cardiac drip titration
• One pre-approved time off period available during contract
• Overtime available at 1.1% after 48 total hours in one week

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of CVICU nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 1:2 patient ratios
• Proficiency in arterial line management, central line care, ventilated patient care, continuous IV sedation, ECMO, ABG interpretation, dysrhythmia management, IABP, pulmonary artery line monitoring, and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Previous charge experience, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Must complete core compliance items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Geographic restrictions apply to certain local counties
