Job Opportunity – CT/X-Ray Technologist – Chewelah, WA 99109

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Chewelah, Washington

Schedule: Weekend night shift, Friday through Sunday, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts), with possible additional Thursday shifts to meet department needs. 8-week assignment through December 14, 2026. Weekends required; no on-call.

Highlights:

• Dual-role position performing both CT and X-ray procedures in a small rural critical access hospital setting
• 23-bed facility utilizing Epic charting system with supportive interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
• Work with diverse patient populations across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Equipment includes Siemens CT scanner, Care Stream for X-ray and portable imaging, and I-site PACS system
• Free parking and flexible scrub color policy
• Expected patient ratio of 5:1 with no floating between units

Requirements:

• Active Washington State license (compact license accepted)
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification required
• ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) certification highly preferred; if not held, must demonstrate significant CT experience
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT/X-Ray Technologist
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in CT procedures including head, chest, abdomen, pelvis imaging with and without contrast, multiplanar reconstruction, and trauma protocols
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration, IV starts, and venipuncture preferred
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required
