Job Opportunity – Registered Respiratory Therapist – Spokane, WA 99204

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Spokane, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), every other weekend required. Block scheduling required. 48-hour shifts approved. Floating between units required.

• 629-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital with Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
• Comprehensive respiratory care including floor care, emergency department, code response, and rapid response

• Diverse patient population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• 13-week assignment (91 days) with 36-40 hours of orientation
• Specialized units including Level 4 NICU, Level I Trauma, Medical ICU, Cardiac ICU, and PICU

Requirements:

• Active Washington state Respiratory Therapist license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience; at least 1 year required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Experience with emergency department and pediatrics preferred
• Proficiency in mechanical ventilation, BiPAP/CPAP, aerosol therapy, ABG interpretation, and airway management
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
