Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Milwaukie, OR 97222

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Milwaukie, Oregon

Schedule: Variable shifts including evening (15:00 - 03:30) and night (19:00 - 07:30), primarily 3x12-hour shifts. Every other weekend required. Patient ratio 1:4.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment at a 59-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital
• Emergency Department experience with combined adult and pediatric populations, all chief complaints and diagnoses
• First-time travelers welcome; variable shift position with primarily night coverage
• No on-call required; interdisciplinary support including interpretation services
• 21-room Emergency Department with approximately 85 visits per day
• Opportunity to work within a multi-facility health system with potential floating to sister facilities

Requirements:

• Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP
• Epic charting system experience required (hard stop requirement)
• Triage experience required (hard stop requirement)
• Experience with 1:4 patient ratios
• Skills required: blood product administration, central line care/management, IV vasopressors, starting and maintaining IVs, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Must have reliable vehicle for assignment
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
