Job Opportunity – Registered Respiratory Therapist – Spokane, WA 99204

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Spokane, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), every other weekend required. Block scheduling required. Patient ratio approximately 1:11. Floating between units required.

• 629-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital with Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center designation
• Comprehensive respiratory care including floor care, emergency department, code response, and rapid response
• Work with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Epic charting system with 36-40 hours of paid orientation

• 13-week travel assignment with potential for 48-hour work weeks

Requirements:

• Active Washington State Respiratory Therapist license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• RRT certification required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred; pediatric experience preferred
• Emergency department experience preferred
• Proficiency with ventilator management, BiPAP/CPAP, ABG interpretation, airway management, and pulmonary hygiene
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
