Job Opportunity – MRI Technologist – Napa, CA 94558

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Napa, California

Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts with start times at either 7:00 AM or 8:30 AM. Call coverage on Sundays based on rotation (approximately every 4th to 5th Sunday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM). Contract duration of 13 weeks.

Highlights:

• Work with GE 1.5 Signa and GE 1.5 Optima MRI equipment
• Perform a variety of imaging procedures including neuro, MSK, abdomen, MRCPs, and breast exams (no cardiac)
• Serve adult and geriatric patient populations in both acute care and outpatient settings
• Flexible scheduling options with 10-hour shifts preferred, 8-hour shifts negotiable
• Up to two pre-approved time-off requests available
• Orientation provided with 40 hours allocated for onboarding

Requirements:

• California Certification for Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required
• ARRT in Radiology (ARRT R) required
• ARRT in MRI (ARRT (R)(MRI)) preferred
• BLS certification required
• California IV certification preferred prior to start
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required; at least 1 year of recent experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Proficiency with various MRI imaging techniques including gradient echo, spin echo, T-1 and T-2 weighted images, and post-processing
• Experience with PACS systems and contrast media administration
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
