Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Santa Rosa, CA 95405

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Santa Rosa, California

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00); 4x12 schedule available upon request. Patient ratio 1:3. Floating to postpartum unit as needed. Orientation: 36 hours.

Highlights:

• 6-month travel assignment at a 277-bed acute care hospital
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, physical therapy, and rapid response teams
• Preferred Trauma Level II experience; work with neonates, adolescents, and adult patient populations
• Scrubs provided for Labor and Delivery staff
• Guaranteed hours with minimal call-off policy (facility may call off once per two-week pay period)
• Comprehensive orientation and ongoing support throughout assignment

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required; postpartum experience is mandatory
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
• Preferred certification: AWHONN Advanced
• Epic charting system experience required
• Previous travel experience preferred; first-time travelers not accepted
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Clean background check required; no exceptions for background discrepancies
