Job Opportunity – CT Technologist – Petaluma, CA 94954

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Petaluma, California

Schedule: Variable 4x10 day shifts (07:00 - 17:30). This is a 13-week travel assignment with 40 hours of orientation. Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

Highlights:

• Work in a moderately busy, full-service imaging department with approximately 80 exams per day
• Primarily outpatient and emergency department traffic with some OR cases including pacemakers and orthopedic procedures
• Cross-trained position working in both CT and X-ray departments
• Community hospital setting providing comprehensive imaging services
• Opportunity to perform a wide range of CT procedures including vascular CTA, brain perfusion, and CT arthrography
• Potential to float between sister facilities in the area

Requirements:

• ARRT-CT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Fluoroscopy permit required
• Active California state license or compact license (must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience
• At least 1 year of recent experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Proficiency with Philips equipment preferred
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration, starting peripheral IVs, PACS, and various CT procedures including head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and musculoskeletal imaging
• General radiography skills including portables, C-Arm, fluoroscopy studies, and extremities
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Clean background check (facility does not accept Nursys or background hits)
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
