Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cath Lab – Santa Monica, CA 90404

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Santa Monica, California – beachside acute care setting

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30). On-call required based on needs with 30-minute response time; averages 10 call shifts within a 6-week period, including one weekend of call. Four weekend shifts required per contract. Guaranteed hours with one potential call-off per two-week pay period.

• Four-room Cath Lab with daily census of 3 scheduled cases, up to 9 cases per day including emergency procedures
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, and transportation
• Advanced procedural experience including diagnostic cardiac catheterization, interventional procedures, electrophysiology studies, and stroke interventions
• Epic charting system with state-of-the-art equipment including Impella LVAD, IABP, intravascular ultrasound, and Penumbra thrombectomy devices
• Scrubs provided for Cath Lab staff

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted; must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience preferred
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including left and right heart catheterization
• Proficiency with IV vasopressors, antihypertensives, thrombolytics, procedural sedation, and dysrhythmia management
• Skills with IABP placement/removal, pulmonary artery line monitoring, and ventilator management
• Interventional radiology experience is a plus
• Previous travel experience preferred; first-time travelers not accepted
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years required
