Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit – Spokane, WA 99204

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Spokane, Washington

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), every other weekend required. 13-week assignment with 12 hours of orientation.

• Progressive Care Unit/Stepdown position at a 629-bed Level II Trauma Center and teaching facility
• Patient ratios of 1:3-4 with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Epic charting system with comprehensive cardiac monitoring capabilities

• Potential to float to telemetry or medical-surgical units based on staffing needs

Requirements:

• Active Washington State RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of progressive care unit or stepdown nursing experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Demonstrated ability to titrate and manage cardiac drips (hardstop requirement)
• Experience with patient ratios of 4-5 patients preferred
• Proficiency in cardiac telemetry, vasoactive drip management, central line care, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
