Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, ICU – Edmonds, WA 98026

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Edmonds, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30), 13-week assignment. Float required as needed to IMCU/Telemetry. Weekend coverage required as needed. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

Highlights:

• General ICU experience with diverse patient populations including sepsis, post-cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, severe DKA, multi-system organ failure, CIWA, GI bleed, renal failure, and stroke
• Work with advanced equipment including IABP, PA catheters, ventilators, Spacelabs telemetry monitors, and Lifepack defibrillators
• 13-bed intensive care unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• 12-hour orientation provided to support successful onboarding
• Compact nursing license accepted

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required; TNCC preferred
• Proficiency in arterial line management, central line care, continuous IV sedation, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Experience with ventilated patient care, BiPAP/CPAP management, interpretation of ABGs, and dysrhythmia management
• Experience with multi-system organ dysfunction/failure and neurosurgical/trauma/medical ICU settings preferred
• Clean background check required; no Nursys or background hits accepted
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must not have worked at this health system within the past 3 months
