Job Opportunity – Radiation Therapist – Santa Monica, CA 90404

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Santa Monica, California – beachside acute care setting

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00 - 15:30). No call required. Patient volume of 20-30 patients per day. Assignment duration of 91 days (approximately 13 weeks).

Highlights:

• Work at a 266-bed acute care hospital in a beautiful beachside location
• Utilize Varian machines and Epic charting system
• Treat diverse patient populations including neonate through older adult age groups
• Gain experience with advanced radiation therapy techniques including IMRT, Gamma Knife radiosurgery, and external beam therapy
• No call coverage required for this position
• Local candidates accepted

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• ARRT-T (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiation Therapy) certification required
• Valid California state license and national certification required at time of submission
• Experience with Epic or other electronic charting systems required
• Proficiency in radiation therapy skills including tumor localization, custom molds and shields, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, and dose calculation
• Experience with treatment planning systems such as Pinnacle or Eclipse preferred
• Two professional references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
