Description

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse Case Manager – Anchorage, AK 99508

Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday business hours with weekend rotation (every other weekend or 4 weekend days per 4-week schedule). Shift options include 4x10 or 5x8 schedules with various start times between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM. 72 guaranteed hours per 2-week period.

Manage a caseload of approximately 30 patients focusing on discharge planning and care coordination

Opportunity to work with diverse patient populations across all age groups

Requirements:

Active Alaska RN license required (must be in hand for offer)
Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience required
Acute care hospital experience required (behavioral health experience does not qualify)
Epic EMR experience required
BLS certification preferred
ACM (Accredited Case Manager) certification preferred
Experience with admission criteria, appeals and denials, discharge planning, and utilization of InterQual criteria and Milliman guidelines
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
Willingness to float within case management services as needed
