Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Emergency Department – Avalon, CA 90704

Start Date: September 30, 2026

Location: Avalon, California

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, averaging 36 hours per week

Highlights:

Emergency Department position with float responsibilities to Medical-Surgical unit as needed
Acute care hospital setting with manageable patient ratios
91-day assignment from late September through late December 2026
Unique island community healthcare experience
Overtime, callback, and holiday pay available for hours worked beyond standard thresholds

Requirements:

Active California Registered Nurse license
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required
Stroke certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Emergency Department and Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred
