Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Seaside, OR 97138

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Coastal Oregon

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), every other weekend required. Patient ratio 1:4. Floating to other units based on facility needs may be required.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment at a 23-bed Critical Access Hospital
• Work with diverse patient populations across all age groups including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Epic charting system with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and social services
• 10-room emergency department with daily census of approximately 24 patients
• Opportunity to utilize advanced skills including arterial line management, central line care, procedural sedation, and trauma care

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted; first-time travelers and pending licenses considered)
• Minimum 3 years of emergency department nursing experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (required); NRP preferred
• Experience with community hospital settings required
• Proficiency in Epic charting system
• Competency in emergency procedures including triage, trauma care, ventilator management, blood product administration, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Must have reliable personal vehicle for this assignment
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
