Job Opportunity – Emergency Room Nurse – Chico, CA 95926

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Chico, California

Schedule: Varied shift schedule, 12-hour shifts with varied start times (6:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM, and 6:00 PM). 36 guaranteed hours per week. Assignment duration of 91 days (approximately 13 weeks).

Highlights:

• Work in a Level II Trauma Center with Joint Commission accreditation as a STEMI and Stroke Receiving Center
• Modern 49-bed emergency department with 5 pods and approximately 68,000 annual visits
• Manageable patient ratios with a maximum of 4:1
• EPIC charting system in use
• Opportunity to utilize advanced emergency nursing skills in trauma, pediatrics, STEMI, and stroke care

Requirements:

• Current California RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Room experience in a Level II trauma center or higher
• Experience with pediatrics, trauma, STEMI, and stroke patients required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Current ENPC and TNCC certifications preferred
• Must be a W-2 employee of your agency
• Willingness to float to Med/Surg and Critical Care units as needed
