Job Opportunity – Emergency Room Nurse – Springfield, MA, 01199

Start Date: September 7, 2026

Location: Springfield, Massachusetts

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM; 36 guaranteed hours per week; 3x12 or 4x12 schedules available. Overtime available after 40 hours per week.

• Large, high-acuity emergency department with 118 beds serving a highly diverse patient population
• Dynamic environment with mixed acuity cases including behavioral health, boarding patients, emergency/trauma, and critically ill/ICU-level patients
• Typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
• 91-day travel assignment with competitive compensation including charge rate differential and holiday premium pay
• Multiple positions available for qualified emergency room nurses
• Must reside outside of 90-mile radius from facility

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department or ICU experience, post-orientation
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Active nursing license in good standing
• Strong critical care skills with demonstrated ability to manage complex and unstable patients
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with adaptability to changing patient needs
• Massachusetts staffing license documentation required upon presentation
