Job Opportunity – Physical Therapist, Acute Care – Mission Viejo, CA 92691

Start Date: November 3, 2026

Location: Mission Viejo, California

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts (08:00 - 16:30). Weekend requirement of 3 shifts per 6-week period (Saturday or Sunday). Patient ratio of 1:2.

• Work with diverse patient populations including CVA, multiple trauma, cardiac, orthopedic, open heart, general medicine, oncology, neurology, spine, and total joint patients

• May float to nearby sister facilities to meet operational needs
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate acute care and trauma experience

Requirements:

• Active California Physical Therapy license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care inpatient experience required (non-negotiable)
• Level II Trauma experience highly preferred; candidates without trauma experience must demonstrate comfort working independently in a trauma environment
• BLS certification required; ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale preferred
• Experience with adaptive devices, gait training, mobility assessment, discharge planning, and patient/family education
• ICU experience highly preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Ability to work independently with limited orientation
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
