Job Opportunity – Intensive Care Registered Nurse – St Johnsbury, VT 05819

Start Date: October 14, 2026

Location: St Johnsbury, Vermont – Northeast Kingdom region

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 guaranteed hours). Assignment duration: 91 days (approximately 13 weeks).

Highlights:

• Work in a four-bed open ICU at a 25-bed critical access hospital serving Vermont's historic Northeast Kingdom
• Provide critical care nursing following AACN Standards for diverse patient populations including pediatric, adult, and geriatric
• Enjoy year-round outdoor recreation including skiing at Burke Mountain, hiking and biking at Kingdom Trails, and exploring Vermont's natural beauty
• Join a dedicated team delivering exceptional patient care in a close-knit, nonprofit community hospital setting
• Competitive compensation including overtime after 48 hours per week, holiday premium pay, and on-call differential

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of two years RN experience required
• Critical care experience required
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry
• Reliable personal vehicle required (rural location with no public transportation or ride-share services)
• Credentials must be submitted five business days prior to start date
