Description

Job Opportunity – Speech-Language Pathologist – Pocatello, ID 83201

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Pocatello, Idaho

Schedule: 7 days on/7 days off, day shift (08:00 - 18:00), 4x10-hour shifts. 13-week assignment with approximately 10 patient visits per day and a daily census of 20 patients.

Highlights:

  • Inpatient rehabilitation setting working with adult and geriatric populations
  • Comprehensive dysphagia management including bedside swallow evaluations and videofluoroscopic swallow studies (VFSS)
  • Treatment of diverse patient diagnoses including CVA, TBI, dementia, neurodegenerative diseases, and post-extubation/tracheostomy patients
  • Interdisciplinary team support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and radiology
  • First-time travelers welcome
  • One pre-approved time off period available

Requirements:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Active Idaho state SLP license required at time of submission
  • Current BLS certification required
  • MBSImP (Modified Barium Swallow Impairment Profile) certification required
  • VitalStim certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience with bedside swallow evaluations, VFSS interpretation, cognition, and speech/language therapy
  • Epic charting system experience preferred
  • Trauma Level II experience preferred
  • Must reside outside 50-mile radius from the location
