Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Float – Olympia, WA 98506

Start Date: November 3, 2026

Location: Olympia, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Patient ratios vary from 1:4 to 1:6 depending on unit acuity. Float assignment to meet institutional needs across multiple units including ER boarded patients, telemetry, and medical-surgical units.

• 325-bed short-term acute care facility utilizing Epic charting system
• Float pool position offering diverse clinical experience across multiple specialties and patient populations
• May include charge nurse responsibilities on smaller units with coordination of staffing, bed flow, and general unit management
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more
• 91-day assignment with 24 hours of orientation provided
• Opportunity to work with adult and geriatric patient populations in a dynamic healthcare environment

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• Experience working in the United States healthcare system required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with patient ratios of 4-6 patients
• Proficiency in cardiac telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions, and telemetry monitoring
• Cardiac step-down experience ideal but not required
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Willingness to float to sister facilities as needed
