Description
Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Case Manager – Anchorage, AK 99508
Start Date: November 9, 2026
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 - 17:30), exact shift times may vary. Every other weekend or 4 weekend days per 4-week schedule required. 70 guaranteed hours per 2 weeks. 91-day assignment.

- Join a comprehensive 407-bed acute care facility with a daily census of 324 patients
- Manage a caseload of approximately 30 patients with focus on discharge planning and care coordination
- Collaborate with extensive interdisciplinary support teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, social services, and rapid response teams
- Utilize Epic electronic medical records system in a modern healthcare environment
- Free parking and scrubs provided
Requirements:
- Active Alaska RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 1-2 years of acute care hospital experience required (behavioral health experience does not qualify)
- Epic EMR experience required
- BLS certification preferred
- ACM (Accredited Case Manager) certification preferred
- Experience with admission criteria, appeals and denials, discharge planning, and medical necessity determinations
- Knowledge of InterQual criteria, Milliman guidelines, ICD-10 coding, and CMS regulations preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Teams preferred
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
- Willingness to float within case management services as needed
