Job Opportunity – Obstetrics Registered Nurse – Machias, ME 04654

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Machias, Maine

Schedule: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, day shift. 91-day assignment. Overtime after 40 hours per week.

• Provide holistic, individualized care for obstetrics patients using the nursing process
• Work with diverse patient populations including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gynecology patients
• Demonstrate clinical competency, nursing judgment, and teaching skills in a supportive environment
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver quality patient care

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Minimum one year of acute care experience as a Registered Nurse
• Current Maine RN license or ability to obtain
• Current BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate, and STABLE certification
• COVID-19 vaccination required per state mandate
• Effective written and oral communication skills; basic computer proficiency
