Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Intermediate Care – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: November 3, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), 36 hours per week. Patient ratio 1:4. Weekend coverage required (approximately half of weekends per contract). Float required.

• 13-week travel assignment in an Intermediate Care (IMC) unit
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
• Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
• Opportunity to work with diverse patient populations requiring step-down level care
• Preferred experience with Trauma Level I settings

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license must be in hand at time of application)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Experience with cardiac telemetry, ventilated patients, IV insulin protocols, and titration of insulin drips
• Proficiency in managing chest tubes, central lines, PICCs, wound care, tracheostomy care, and various other intermediate care skills
• Must complete core onboarding items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
