Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical/Telemetry – Chewelah, WA 99109

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Chewelah, Washington

Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts available for Day (07:00 - 19:00) or Night (19:00 - 07:00); Every other weekend required; 91-day assignment through February 1, 2027

Highlights:

• Critical Access Hospital with 23 beds and a daily census of approximately 13 patients
• Nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6 depending on shift
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and more
• Flexible float requirement between two sister facilities based on census needs
• No on-call required; 12 hours of orientation provided
• Opportunity to work with adult and geriatric populations in a supportive community hospital setting

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience
• Experience with Epic charting system required
• Patient ratio experience of 4-6 patients preferred
• Proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV therapy, central line care, wound care, blood product administration, and post-surgical care
• Experience with BiPAP/CPAP, oxygen administration, isolation precautions, and rapid response team activation
• Community hospital, LTAC, or trauma center experience preferred
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
