Job Opportunity – Respiratory Therapist – Pocatello, ID 83201

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Pocatello, Idaho

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15), every other weekend required. 36-hour orientation provided. 13-week assignment.

Highlights:

• Work in a 205-bed acute care facility with trauma center designation and 20-bed ICU
• Provide respiratory care across multiple units including Medical, Surgical, Rehab, Progressive Care, ICU, and limited pediatrics
• Collaborative environment with 4-6 respiratory therapists on staff each shift
• Epic documentation system utilized throughout the facility

• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more

Requirements:

• Current state or compact Respiratory Therapist license required at time of submission
• Active certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP
• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
• Proficiency in adult and pediatric care, ventilator management, BiPAP/CPAP, ABG interpretation, and basic EKG
• Experience with endotracheal tube management, intubation assistance, airway placement, and suctioning techniques
• Skills in aerosol therapy, nebulizer treatments, and metered dose inhaler administration
• Trauma Level II experience preferred; Epic charting experience preferred
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify
