Job Opportunity – Certified Surgical Technologist – Portland, OR 97213

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Portland, Oregon

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00). On-call requirements include 16 hours of weekday call and 24 hours of weekend call every 4 weeks. Weekend shifts required as needed for department coverage. 1:1 patient ratio.

Highlights:

• Work in a 418-bed short-term acute care facility with a 21-room operating suite and daily census of 60 cases
• Comprehensive adult surgical specialties including bariatrics, orthopedics, neurosurgery, ENT, gynecology, general surgery, colorectal, urology, plastics, vascular, thoracic, and endovascular procedures

• Advanced surgical technology including Da Vinci Xi Surgical System and Intuitive Surgical Systems XI & SI
• Focus on treating advanced oncology surgical cases with exposure to diverse and complex procedures
• Epic charting system and modern surgical equipment in a collaborative environment
• One pre-approved time off period available during 13-week assignment

Requirements:

• Active Oregon state license or compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Current BLS certification required
• NBSTSA or ASATT certification required
• Minimum 2 years of surgical tech experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Broad knowledge of surgical equipment and procedures across multiple specialties
• Experience with laparoscopic and robotic-assisted procedures strongly preferred
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
