Job Opportunity – Intensive Care Unit Nurse – Globe, AZ 85501

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Globe, Arizona

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, plus on-call responsibilities. 36 guaranteed hours per week. 91-day assignment through February 1, 2027.

Highlights:

• Six-bed Medical Observation Stepdown Unit providing comprehensive critical care nursing
• Diverse patient population including post-surgical, post-cardiac catheterization with PCI, respiratory failure, sepsis, DKA, AKI, and unstable arrhythmias
• Variable nurse-to-patient ratios: Critical care 2:1, Step-down 4:1, Standard 6:1
• Opportunity to float to Med/Surg, Telemetry, Step-Down, and Observation units
• Advanced critical care equipment including mechanical ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, and rapid infusers
• Travel nursing assignment with quick start availability

Requirements:

• Active nursing license in Arizona or compact state licensure
• Critical care nursing experience required
• Proficiency in initiation, titration, and management of vasopressors, thrombolytics, antihypertensives, antidiabetics, and sedation
• Experience with ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and telemetry interpretation
• Competency in sepsis management, central line management, arterial line management, chest tube management, and blood administration
• Flu vaccine required (no exceptions)
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility
