Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical Orthopedics – State College, PA 16801
Start Date: October 13, 2026
Location: State College, Pennsylvania
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, every other weekend. 36 guaranteed hours per week. Overtime available after 40 hours per week.
Highlights:
- Travel nursing opportunity with a 91-day assignment through January 12, 2027
- Specialize in Medical-Surgical Orthopedics and Adult Medical-Surgical nursing
- Competitive compensation with overtime and holiday pay at time and a half
- No on-call requirements
- Consistent night shift schedule with every other weekend rotation
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Pennsylvania
- Minimum of 2 years of previous RN experience required
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers
- Strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to function effectively as a team member and patient advocate
