Job Description

The Cardiac Cath Lab Technician assists with the performance of imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab, demonstrating critical thinking skills and judgment. The technician works under the direction of the Cardiologist, Chief Technologist, or Director of Imaging Services and is responsible for performing studies in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Certification: RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Shift: Days, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Call: 7 days every other week (no 48-hour option, no block scheduling)
• Travel Distance: Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility
• EMR Systems: Medhost and MacLab
• Scrub Color: Provided

Additional Information

• Facility has 2 beds in the Cardiac Cath Lab
• Maximum return to office (RTO) time is 3 days
• Travelers must submit complete information including home address and SSN for consideration
