Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Travel)

Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Days, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Monday to Friday
• 4 days of call per month

Experience & Certification Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• ARRT CT certification required
• Experience with both CT and X-ray required

Job Description

• Perform professional, timely, and accurate diagnostic CT examinations of specific anatomy as prescribed by the referring physician
• Provide CT care to patients to obtain diagnostic quality radiographs for radiologist interpretation
• Must be a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
• Licensed by the state as a general radiographer
• Provide diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatient settings under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols
• Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
• Demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
• Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy
