Travel RN Opportunity - Newport, Tennessee

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Newport, Tennessee

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Shift: Days (7 AM - 7 PM)
Schedule: 2/3 split schedule with block scheduling possible
Call: May be required
Patient Ratio: 1:6
Number of Beds: 24
EMR System: Cerner
Scrub Color: Royal Blue

Requirements

Licenses/Certifications:
- Tennessee RN License
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Prior Travel Experience: Preferred but not required
Additional: Must be located greater than 50 miles from the facility

Role Scope

Provide direct and indirect patient care addressing psychosocial, physical, developmental, and general care needs
Meet communication needs of patients and families
Demonstrate professional initiative and responsibility
Communicate with physicians regarding patient condition changes, diagnostic test results, and symptomatology

Schedule Example

Week 1: Work Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday; Off Wednesday, Thursday
Week 2: Work Wednesday, Thursday; Off Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Notes

No floating required
Travel Time Off (RTO) must be included with submission and made up at the end of the contract
