Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer - Radiology

Location: Corsicana, Texas

Job Description

• Provide timely diagnostic ultrasound services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
• Perform abdominal, pelvic (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms.
• Proficient in scanning small parts including thyroid, breast, and scrotum.
• Perform ultrasound-guided procedures such as biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations.

Requirements

• Must have ARRT or ARDMS license.
• BLS certification required.
• 1-2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer (use 2 years as the required experience).
• Must be able to start ASAP.
• Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Familiarity with MedHost EMR system.
• Dress code: solid color scrubs, no camouflage.
• Shift: Days, 7 AM to 7 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday (some flexibility).
• Call every other Sunday.
• Facility size: 162 beds, with an average of 8-10 patients daily.

Additional Notes

• Must be a graduate of an accredited AMA school.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and/or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
• Travel experience is not explicitly required.
