Job Opportunity: RN - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide patient care in the Operating Room as part of the surgical team, working alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR technicians.
Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering care.
Ensure availability of supplies and timeliness of surgical cases.
Communicate with patient families and update physician preference cards.
Scrub and assist physicians during surgical procedures.
Supervise personnel delivering patient care in the OR.
Follow State Nurse Practice Act, AORN guidelines, and hospital policies.

Requirements

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) in Operating Room (OR)
Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years in Orthopedics (higher value between 1 and 2 years)
Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
Shift: 4x10 hour shifts, 06:30 AM - 5:00 PM
No on-call duties
Start Date: ASAP
