Housing & Vehicle

• Housing and rental vehicle provided during assignment
• Housing: Typically 1-bedroom apartments, available 72 hours before contract start and must be vacated within 24 hours after contract end
• Pets are not allowed
• Housing usually accommodates only the traveler; additional family members require approval
• Housing must be cleaned upon departure or additional fees apply
• Vehicle: Facility provides a vehicle or rental car for local use only (within 30-mile radius)
• Only the traveler may operate the vehicle with valid driver’s license and insurance proof
• Vehicle must be returned clean and with a full tank of gas
• Tire chains available at additional cost
• Vehicle must be returned during any time off and reissued upon return

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Background Check within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
• Education Verification required for all candidates
• State-specific background and registry checks as applicable
• Physical Exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
• Drug Testing: 10 Panel Drug Screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
• Immunizations and Health Requirements:

  • TDAP (Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis) within 10 years or declination
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination (Alaska placements require both positive titer and vaccine series)
  • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
  • Flu vaccine during flu season or declination
  • COVID vaccine or declination
• Respirator Safety Clearance required annually for travel candidates
• References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within last 3 years
• Employment Application covering at least last 5 years of employment

Training & Competency Requirements

• Completion of required WorkRamp modules (regulatory, specialty, and facility-specific) prior to start
• Competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests as applicable
• Skills checklists updated annually as applicable
• Color Blind Testing if required by unit
• Epic training modules completion as required

Additional Notes

• Must comply with facility float policy (may be required to float to other Providence facilities nearby)
• Radiation badges issued by facility if applicable
• Facility requires photo for badge issuance
• Mask fit testing required for travel candidates, updated annually
• Housing and vehicle policies strictly enforced

This position offers a comprehensive travel contract opportunity for CT Technologists with no prior experience required, providing housing and vehicle support in a Level IV Trauma acute care setting in Kodiak, Alaska.
