Job Opportunity: Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse will assist with day-to-day nursing activities focused on hemodialysis patient care. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional healthcare.

Essential Job Duties

• Assess hemodialysis patients and develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care.
• Administer, monitor, and document therapeutic interventions and regimens.
• Manage rapidly changing patient stations and delegate care to other department members.
• Assist providers with patient-related needs before, during, and after hemodialysis care.
• Coordinate extra care at other facilities as needed.
• Obtain lab specimens, perform lab competencies, and conduct quality controls regularly.
• Educate patients and/or family members about disease processes, care needs, and safety issues.
• Participate in daily huddles, monthly meetings, and clinical decision-making.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or providers.

Required Qualifications

• Two-year degree in nursing required; four-year degree preferred.
• Must hold and maintain a Wisconsin Registered Nursing license.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 9 months clinical nursing experience.
• Minimum of 3 months specialized experience providing clinical dialysis care in chronic or acute settings (can be completed during orientation).
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
